Town Meeting Day--The Movie

For the student reporters and photographers who put together a half-hour television broadcast each weekday for Lyndon State College and its surrounding communities, Vermont's annual town meeting day is both a blessing and a curse. A blessing because they get to fan out over the coverage area and show democracy in action. A curse because the news doesn't always turn out the way they expected, the clock seems to be ticking faster and faster as the 5:30 deadline approaches, and some stories just don't fit into that short half-hour.
